••••••••• She says.... “I started my page about 3 months ago. I had been thinking about it for a while and finally decided to start it after a conversation with my best friend. Before that I was open with friends and family but now I am more open with others via #Instagram and in person. I have sense helped a few follow #spoonies with their #struggles”. She continues.. “I was #diagnosed with #UC when I was in high school which was a long process filled with various #testing and procedures. When I was 17 I got really #sick and ended up in the #hospital. I ended up needing an #ostomy, which I had for almost a year. The process included 3 #surgeries and 6 #hospital stays. Which caused my to push #college off for a year (although I did take online #classes to keep me busy). A few years later I was #diagnosed with #arthritis which was due in part to the #medications I was on while the hospital. But I still live a pretty active life. I love #traveling and trying new things.
