•••••• She says.. “After waking up with #swollen #joints and completing various lab testing, I was #diagnosed with #rheumatoid #arthritis. Like many, my #rheumatologist #prescribed me steroids and #immune #suppressants. Having worked in a #hospital for many years, I knew the awful side effects of this and did not want to live my life that way. I began #researching and #reading studies on food and #environmental #influences on RA, which opened a world of healing that made sense to me. So, I changed my lifestyle – foods I ate, shampoo I used, and much more – to reverse factors that triggered my RA. It has taken much time and effort, but I’ve seen small #improvements, like the my hair has started to grow back, and larger ones, like having days and weeks with little to no inflammation and pain. I wanted to share everything I’ve learned and continue to learn in hopes of helping others with their #autoimmune #journey, so I started a #blog (RAandI.com) of my many trials and many more successes!” ••••••• Thank you @ra.and.i for sharing your story.
