•••• She says.... “I was never really #healthy. As a child I had #asthma, #eczema, and #anaphylactic #allergies. At 14 I was diagnosed with acute #Lymphoblastic #Leukemia. I endured 2.5yrs of #chemotherapy and had a few good, healthy years from about 17-22! During those years I #graduated high school (on time! Which was a major accomplishment!) and then did 6 years of post secondary #education, earning 2 degrees, a diploma, and a post graduate #certificate! Around 21/22 I started experiencing a lot of pain and exhaustion that I mostly attributed to working 3 jobs while maintaining a course overload university schedule. I sought answers around 22yrs old and was diagnosed with #inflammatory arthritis and #osteoarthritis. As my #symptoms continued to worsen the diagnoses of #fibromyalgia and degenerative disc disease were added. By the age of 26 I was on federal disability. 3 spine surgeries later, #ankylosing #spondylitis has joined the list. Now, I just try to bring #awareness to invisible and rheumatic diseases! “ •••••• WOW. Thank you @chronically_courtney for sharing your story💓
