Meet aippaleorookie....

Everyone meet @aippaleorookie ••••• She says... “I’m actually not newly-diagnosed. But I’ve come a long way since. These days, I’m kinder to myself and relish in small #victories. It’s so important to keep the fighting spirit up and not beat yourself up when you feel limited by the #disease. Surrounding myself with people who understand and #love all of me makes all the difference. I hear my husband and my boys whispering ‘yes, you can!’ or ‘it’s ok to rest’ when I feel absolutely beaten. I’ve learned to listen to my body and give it the love that it needs, no matter how hard it fails me more often than not. This includes #nourishing it with good #food and #supplements. I’m a huge #believer in ‘we are what we eat’ and that food plays an important role in my healing journey and managing my symptoms” ••••• In another posting, she wrote.... “How do you summarise pain in one post? My #flare-ups, my medical candies and the dreaded weekly needle, the #emotional #rollercoaster that knows no end? If I’m honest, I do hide a lot, behind this invisible mask and shield. Maybe if I act normal, I’d feel #normal. But the reality of it is - this is my ‘normal’. So today for the first time ever, I’m showing up for myself and all arthritis warriors out there” •••••• Thank you @aippaleorookie for sharing your story💓 #ArthritisMovement
